Today I had the opportunity to speak to over 50 high school students at a local Career Day event at a nearby high school. I was so impressed by their level of interest in Medical Hypnotherapy as a career.
They asked great questions; ranging from what type of clients do you have, what issues do they come to see you for, what was your training, has it ever been dangerous, most interesting client, and so on.
I ended each 30 minute session with the Lemon Demonstration; guiding them to imagine cutting open and tasting a lemon. An informative and fun way to get to know a potential client and to realize the power of your own mind! We, as hypnotherapists, are only the guide; it is the client who does all the work.
